United in Christ & Business - UIC&B
Goal:
The vision for this group is to bring together businessmen and businesswomen to collaborate, share ideas, network, and grow together. Members will have opportunities to attend business training sessions, conventions, expos, and workshops on topics like financial planning, raising capital, and business plan development. We’ll also host business showcase meetings and enjoy fun activities to unwind, like cycling, axe throwing, escape rooms, or a simple "Cafecito" night. My inspiration comes from Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” There is power of coming together to seek guidance and support to overcome the challenges of running a business. It offers support for both seasoned entrepreneurs and those just starting out (everyone wins). Together, we’ll strengthen each other through our combined knowledge, expertise, and prayer.
God at the center:
Our Lord and savior will be at the center of this group as we will start and end every meeting with prayer.
Frequency:
Hosting gatherings monthly or every two months is a great way to keep engagement manageable and meaningful for everyone involved. This flexibility should help accommodate busy schedules while allowing for effective networking and support.
Benefit:
Members will gain a Christ-centered network, share valuable insights, and create job opportunities. Through these connections, the group fosters personal, and professional growth, providing exposure, networking, and business leads. As businesses flourish, they support God's kingdom and the mission of the Care Center, strengthening both the community and its members. As members actively participate business acumen, entrepreneurship and spiritual strength will be heightened.
