Emerging Health Professionals

This group is mainly for young adults (ages 21-35) who are starting their professions in the healthcare field. Whether you are a doctor, nurse, physical therapist, mental health worker, dentist, or in public health/health administration, navigating a field with high demands, stress and changing systems of care can be tough and can challenge your knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ. This group aims to encourage you to live and grow in your faith through the study of the Bible, prayer, and getting to know others of similar callings.

I began my health career in biomedical research, with a belief that God called me into medicine. As, I pursue a career in the medical field, through a journey, my career shifted from serving individual patients to populations and communities as a public health professional. In working almost 20 years in the health industry, I have always put on a perspective of how I can live my Christian life and how does God want me to impact others through my profession. Additionally, in the last 20 years, God has used me to serve, minister and mentor young adults through college campus ministry, young adult ministry and lead church medical/health professional groups.
