Feed My Sheep

Did you know that 1 in 7 people struggle with hunger in the U.S? Using our mission statement as a framework, “To unite people to God and people to people” we will support our church communities by demonstrating compassion to the homeless and those in need of help with food assistance. Through community engagement, this Connect Group of passionate individuals will participate in hands-on experiences with feeding the hungry, help with creating a food pantry at the West Campus and more importantly, will explore ways to meet the personal needs of others in a realistic and concrete way.

“The biggest misconception about the homeless is that if they got themselves in this mess - let them get themselves out. Many people think they are simply lazy. I urge those to make a friend at a local mission and find out how wrong these assumptions are."
