Things Above

Kim has been a devoted servant of Christ Church since 1999. She is known for her big smile and big heart. Kim is a retired educator, caregiver extraordinaire, and parent to an adult daughter. She has co-facilitated LIFE groups and served in many ministries during her membership at Christ Church.

The Things Above LIFE Activity Group is for women of “The Sandwich Generation,” those women who are caring for children/grandchildren as well as their aging parents. This group is a healing place of pampering for women who care for everyone else and put themselves last on their list of priorities. It is also a place to learn new coping methods for stress, and unlock the therapeutic power of community.

We learn the best qualities of being both a “Martha” and a “Mary.” Our worship and fellowship will help us serve others from a full cup. Type of activities will be karaoke, learning the power of comedy, assertiveness practice.
